Luxor, Egypt
We had another long excursion. This one was about 12 hours including 3 hours on the bus driving to and another 3 hours from.

The drive was through the Sahara Desert. And then some travel along the fertile areas. Lots of crops.

This was sugar cane going to the mill.

Much was by donkey.
We did cross the Nile River.

First stop was at the Karnak Temple.

The entry.

Then Valley of the Kings.

Rameses IX

Of course, the most famous to Americans is King Tut.

All of the special things have been removed and most are in a Museum in Cairo. But I will take a photo from the web.

King Tut was a young King but wasn’t afraid to spend money on this cemetery.
